Help Carol Derail Cancer

Benefit Bike Ride for Carol Bartow to help her in her personal battle with cancer. Event is being organized by friends of John and Carol Bartow, owners of Fond du Lac Cyclery. Funds raised will go directly towards Carol’s medical bills.

Personal donations are also being accepted now through the event date at YOUCARING.COM.

The 60 and 36 mile routes leave Fond du Lac from the Boys and Girls Club and make their way out of town, south on S Hickory Street, with the 60 mile route looping through the scenic Kettle Moraine State Forest. Aid stations along the routes will offer food and water. The 16 mile Loop ride will follow closely to the pathway of the Fond du Lac Loop. Sag support is available, provided by Attitude Sports.

REGISTRATION – 3 routes to choose from:
60 Mile – Individual – $45 – View 60 mile route
36 Mile – Individual – $35 – View 36 mile route
16 Mile – Individual – $25 – View 16 mile Loop route

Same-day registration on the day of the event for all rides = add $10
Registration and check-in opens at 7:00 am the day of the event.

DEPARTURE/FINISH
8:00 am – 60 mile and 36 mile routes depart
9:00 am – 16 mile Loop ride departs

All rides will start and finish at the Boys and Girls Club of Fond du Lac, 76 W 2nd St.

Participants will meet back in the Johnsonville Teen Center in the Boys and Girls Club for pizza, provided by Domino’s Pizza, and refreshments. Socialize with friends and supporters of the Bartow’s, and join in the silent auction bidding of fabulous baskets provided by gracious donations from local area businesses.

RIDE SUPPORT
There will be vehicle SAG support and professional bike mechanics along the route to help with any problems that may occur. Aid stations will be available. Bike helmets are mandatory, no exceptions!

PARKING
Event parking will be available at the Boys and Girls Club of Fond du Lac or in the City of Fond du Lac building parking lot at 160 S Macy St. and at the Post Office at 99 W 2nd St. Parking is also available on 2nd Street.
